I read recently in a “blogging advice” forum that bloggers should write information. That nobody wants to read about you because you’re not interesting.
Know what I have to say about that? Phooey on YOU, buddy! My mom thinks I’m interesting, and she reads my blog so, Mom, this one’s for you! 
We went on a weekend getaway with our just-turned-one-year-old twins last weekend. It was fun and SO worth the effort! My hubby and I rented a cabin with another couple and their two kids. What patience they had to put up with babies and being quiet at naptimes and not being able to leave tiny toys on the floor!
The cabin was gorgeous and very modern-looking.
My little family got the big bedroom, which I thought was nice of the other couple. It had a jacuzzi tub!
The whole group of us explored a little trail by the lake, and later my friend and I went into town and did some shopping.
Sometimes you just have to get away, even if it is a lot of work to do it. We definitely had a great time away!
