This week was filled with precious little moments as a family. I’m cherishing every one of them. As I sit here on the brink of going back to work Monday (Booo!!!), I’d rather be thinking about:
Baking cookies for Santa (Ok, this one was last week but it’s cute and I didn’t know what to do with it so here ya go!). Please excuse my messy, crowded kitchen. 🙂
Painting little piggies.
A trip to the park.
Play Doh!
This gal gave herself a manicure and makeover!
AND she got to sit in Starbucks ALL BY HERSELF!! Joy of joys. This was only possible because
- it’s a half mile from my house
- even though I’m not at work this week, we still have to pay for daycare. So the little guys went to Miss Pili’s 2 half-days while John and I took some much needed “me-time”. Hallelujah!
Adding to an already amazing week, John and I went out to dinner ALONE! Like, no kids! My mom babysat them all at our house while we escaped popped down the street to a fabulous local family-owned Italian restaurant for John’s only night off this week. Here is a super-blurry selfie as the one and only piece of evidence that we actually went one a date.
To celebrate the new year, I went with a friend on a hike at nearby Daley Ranch. The weather was perfect. I even got a little bit of a sunburn!
Hope you had a fabulous last week of 2015! Best wishes to you on the new year!
