40+ Books to Read With Your Child This Summer

Reading seasonal books as a family are a great way to deepen your child’s vocabulary and reading comprehension. I like to keep a stock of books categorized by season. As the weather changes, so do the stories on the shelves! These titles are organized by an average level, but children of all ages would enjoy many of these books.

Parents are encouraged to spend some time reading to their children, so that the child learns the way that an ‘expert’ reader would present a story. So feel free to dig in to reading with your children this summer, and get lost in one of these delightful books!
