Let me start by saying that if you have ever Googled the answer to a parenting question or used Yahoo answers, you need to discover Kinsights.
What is it, you ask?
Kinsights is sort of an online question-and-answer lounge for parents. Once you sign up (and signing up is free for U.S. parents!), you can browse questions posted by other parents or submit your own. Members who are in a situation similar to yours will be able to offer their advice in response to your posted question. Question askers choose the best answer, but other members can vote for their favorite answers as well.
Similar to other parenting networks, you can join groups based on your family’s composition (parenting multiples, food allergies, parents of adopted children, etc.). Best of all it’s a private, secure community. So unlike other parenting community forums, the whole wide internet world doesn’t have to know about your 6-year-old’s incontinence or your newborn that screams on every car trip.
Finally, just for fun, by participating in the community you can earn points which can advance you through levels. Each level you achieve as a Kinsights member opens up a new set of perks, like discounts on products that parents would actually use.
So go ahead, use this link to check out Kinsights. You can find me in the group Double the Fun: Parents of Twins, or you can join one of the other great groups of parents.
Disclaimer: All views and opinions expressed are my own. I was not compensated in any way by Kinsights to write this post. I truly think it’s a great community for parents.
